Parwana Haydar is a moving image artist and curator based in London. 

 

Her work touch on themes such as memory, archives and displacement through generative AI, video collages, textile and film. In November 2023 she was offered ACE's Develop Your Creative Practice grant to work on her digital artwork and moving image practice. She studied Social Anthropology & Persian at SOAS with a specific focus on decolonial theory, Persian poetry, literature and folktales.
 

She is a curator of Afghan Visual Arts and History Collective (AVAH) a curatorial collective highlighting artists from Afghanistan and the diaspora.
